I was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where my family boasts a lineage of artists, teachers, and musicians.
Growing up, creativity was nurtured, and I quickly discovered a talent for drawing. Following my graduation from LSU with a History degree and later attending LSU Medical School in New Orleans, I took the plunge into full-time painting. Mostly self-taught, like many, I aim to create pieces with captivating compositions and color schemes.
As a painting enthusiast, I often enjoy witnessing the journey within the final artwork—the roadmap of mistakes, alterations, and revisions. I continually strive to preserve as much of that process in the finished piece as possible. My artistic interests tend to oscillate between representational imagery and more abstract, intuitive expressions, each presenting its distinct set of challenges.
This website provides a visual sampling of my artistic journey over the past two decades.
Please get in touch with me if you are interested in a professional reprint of my paintings and prints. As well, I offer commissioned original artwork to capture a specific piece that you may have in mind.
